The Department of Commerce and Corporate Secretaryship is an illustrious one. The activities of the department are as follows:
The Department’s Inauguration is conducted annually and eminent personalities are invited to address students. The Department caters to the knowledge needs of students, So Seminars are conducted monthly and students are interact actively under the system of case study, knowledge partner, etc.., This Department also has the course called B.Com (Computer Applications). This has a computer lab, which is sophisticated and about 60 system.
The students of this department are pursing professional courses like M.Com, M.Com(C.A),A.C.S, ICWA, CA, M.C.A, M.Sc (Information Technology) M.C.S, M.B.A, M.I.B, M.M.M, M.B.M, simultaneously with their college degrees. Students have been successful in passing these competitive courses in the levels of ACS, ICWA Intermediate. This is possible chiefly due to the Motivation provided by the Commerce Department. Besides the students have exhibited their skills and talents in various inter-college meets and brought laurels to the college. Industrial visits and Periodical tours are organized to enrich the student’s knowledge about the industry and its function. Besides a national tour has also been organized.
