P.G & research department of Social Work has been established in the academic year 2004-2005 to offer two years professional master degree and research programme in social work. The main objective of the department is to alleviate the various problems of individuals, groups and communities of our society through trained and qualified social workers like labour welfare officer, personnel /HR executives in the industrial settings, medical social workers and counselors in hospitals settings and community welfare officers in rural and urban settings, NGOs / Non-Profit Organizations etc., Thus, the M.S.W students are been trained in multi-dimensional ways in terms of applying social work methods and techniques like communication skills, conceptual ability, Leadership Quality etc.,
